A few words from Owner/Chef Raj Veerella…
We acquired Mr Maharajah Indian Cuisine on 7 Balmuto street in October 2000. Soon the restaurant captured media's attention for its quality and affordability and was reviewed by many major newspapers. Compliments from repeated guests encouraged us to expanded to 796 Bloor Street west to be able to serve the entire neighbourhood from East and West to North and South. As a result Banjara Indian Cuisine on 796 Bloor Street west has been evolved as an expansion of Mr. Mahaaraja in September 2003. I would like to thank all our guests for their wonderful support and welcome the new guests to join us in this family spirit.
